The Studio of Photographic Arts (SOPHA) hosts approximately six gallery shows per year, featuring the photographic work of its members and guest artists.  Our shows are run as one night events, converting out spacious rental studios into a well lit gallery space.  Our shows are always free and open to the public.

A Photographic Exhibition featuring the works of Bud Thorpe and Kim Sancranti

June 25, 2016 – 6pm-930pm

The Studio of Photographic Arts (SOPHA) is proud to present this one-night gallery show featuring the work of Bud Thorpe and Kim Sancranti. This show is a travelogue, displaying their photographs created during a 16-day Western road trip made in April 2016.

Join them as they present their fine art work and relate their experiences through annotated visuals. Locations include Death Valley, Yosemite, Valley of Fire, Zion, and “Little Finland” to name a few.

This show is free and open to the public. Fine art prints will be available for purchase. Light refreshments will be served. This is a family-friendly event.

Please RSVP here.

NOTE: While this show is a gallery print show, it is also a travelogue with an audio component. Think of the little audio headsets at the MFA, except you use your phone. You may want to bring your phone’s ear buds so you might better hear the audio.

The audio tracks for Wanderings can be found here.
